TMJ, Headache, and Orofacial Pain Therapy

"Migraines? Headaches? Let Us Help"

Treatment options for facial pain and headaches vary based on the type and cause of pain.  Botulinum toxin — famous for smoothing out wrinkles on the face — has been approved by the FDA to prevent and treat chronic migraine headaches in adults.

Botox injections are being used more frequently in dental offices as "off label" treatments for more troublesome maladies such as TMJ, Trigger Points and Bruxism. Studies have shown patients who received these injections experienced significant improvement in pain, function, ability to open their mouth and levels of tenderness to palpation.
